Check Engine Warning, But No Fault Code

My check engine warning has come on twice in the past three months (2003 GTX Four Tec), once while idling and once while cruising. Both times, the warning went away once the Sea-Doo was restarted.

However, there are no fault codes.

I am curious what is triggering the alarm.

Did you press the "SET" button 5 times while the alarm was sounding?

Yes. I pressed the "SET" button 5 times, and the message that came up was "END."

My 2003 gtx 4tec is doing the same thing. I was told to change both oil sensors and make sure oil level is in the middle of the low and high marks. Havn't had a chance to see if it made a difference yet but changing only the rear sensor didn't help.

Hi,
I had the same problem with my 03' gtx and it turned out to be a faulty front oil pressure switch. The must have made a bad batch because the part #'s are different. I changed both front and back and made sure the oil level was in the middle of the dip stick notch. Runs flawlessly now.

Hello: When the problem fixes itself the check engine will stop flashing and the code will be erased. The only thing you can do is when you ride and the check engine light comes on hit the set button 5 times quickly after the check engine starts to flash and eventually you will catch it. My 03 supercharged did this and I found out it was a cooling sensor was the fault.

I have read many posts about the oil pressure sensors and the fact that they are defective..

As they are a pretty cheap item, if I was having the same issue as you I would simply buy two new sensors and swap them out.
As mentioned above, I am guessing they came out with a bad batch...
