changing starter solenoid 2005 rxt

Sea Doo will click, click click-no start. Checked the leads to starter solenoid using screwdriver, and motor turns over. So, the Solenoid is bad- I have the new part, however, I cannot seem to comprehend how to remove the defective brown solenoid. Help would be greatly appreciated.

disconnect battery, pry off red caps on terminals but the red lower part stays on, push hard with a 1/4 drive 10mm socket onto the terminals which will slightly deform the red lower part and remove. unbolt solenoid mounts, done.
