Hello all,
Ive wanted a Seadoo Jetboat for a while and am now looking around for an inexpensive one to fix up. Currently looking at a 1997 Challenger but it has a couple issues I wanted to ask about before buying. First the owner says it goes great but when you load down the boat with weight it feels like the jet drive is Slipping and doesnt go very fast. Also from sitting in the lake it has a brown line across the bottom that Im wondering if it would come out with a good buff and detail. Any info would be very much appreciated!

Make sure you test drive it. What do you mean about the jet drive slipping? It only happens when there is a lot of weight in the boat? It could be cavitation but that should happen all the time if thats the case

How much is he asking?

The owner states that when you put alot of weight in the rear of the boat, the engine will race more but the boat will not go as fast. I cant test drive the boat because of the time of year and its winterized. He just reduced the price down the $3000 Cash. I was hoping that for that price any impeller work would still keep me below the actual value of the boat.
