So I have a 99' challenger. 787's. This past weekend I cranked it Saturday, (Ran it less that 30 secs per engine) then went to the lake Sunday. Saturday startup was perfectly normal. Sunday was not. Right engine started fine, but the left turned over 4-5 times and then no more. the starter engages, and attempts to turn, but no dice. it seems hydrolocked, but I'm not convinced. if I take the plugs out and release the pressure it will do the same thing. 4 turns or no turns, seems no rhyme or reason to it.
SO.. I have ordered a new starter. perhaps it's just time.
Not fiddled with the battery, the right engine fires fine.
Started running cables looking for corrosion. Haven't found any yet.
Contemplated on a stuck exhaust valve, but I only know enough about it to get myself in trouble.
Any ideas?
if pictures are worth a thousand words, here's a video.
