Have a 08’ and tired of going to the rodeo any time the is light chop or more....

Has anyone used a existing trim tab setup for these boats with success or are the custom made ones the only option?? I’ve read the past threads but all all end pretty open ended... Anyone with knowledge, I’d appreciate the help!

My kids love the rodeo! They want to be up front when we’re on the big lake and waves pick up. My wife and I, eh, not so much. More of a mild annoyance than anything. I’m curious too if anybody has a solution to at least mitigate the bucking bronco tendencies. I wonder too if it’s just the nature of a smaller, lighter boat and hull design.

I made my own mod, we’ll see how this does....

I have heard this from many 180 owners. I have the little 150 and can tell you how am amazed how little my boat porpoises. Also the fact that it has no trim.

I thought I saw someone had put trim tabs on one. I am trying to find it.

I’ve seen a couple of homemade tabs but nothing fits well because of the rear of the hull and how it’s designed. I decided to use hdpe and extend the hull somewhat.
