Hey, I'm going to invest a bit of money to make the seadoo a bit better for myself.
I had 2 things in mind: 1) installing an extra pair of speakers in the front, which comes to mind, could I use regular car speakers or should they be marine?
2) inboard carpets to prevent slip and slides, which i had my few falls already. I've did a quick search on Ebay, but could find any; if someone has a link please share thanks.

Thanks kat, looked up the mats on ebay, sportster 1800 came out double then everyother one. might buy sportster 98-00 and install what I can and cut the other pieces which dont fit!
As for the speakers, you recommend Polk? was asking bout car speakers cause I had an extre pair of new pioneers here in my house.

I definitely would go with hydroturf. I used it and put in a pretty extensive stereo system in my boat. You can see both in avatar pic. I use all Kicker speakers and tell everyone to only use marine speakers. Polk are highly recommended by several guys on here and I have seen them post that all polk speakers are marine rated, so you should be good with them.

Kickers are really good speakers in every way, but I already ordered a pair of polks mean while. I still need to make an extra pair of holes in the front for I could pass wires and install an extra pair. I'm looking for a good radio not excelent, but good lol.
I'm gonna save to by hydroturf, but the exact model for my boat is high in price compared to thee others, so Imma buy one similar and kinda mold it to fit mine. Don't know if it would work, but might give it a try.

Can't go wrong with hydro turf......I have jl speakers and amp with a sony radio. Sony head unit is pretty nice to me. It is marine rated and has a remote and a ipod wire to directly hook up your ipod.
