Thanx to everyones help on my last question.....my problem now is i have no fuel at my accelerator pumps on my Mikuni BN40I-38 carbs. Took the hoses loose and checked to make sure the accel pumps were clear. Shot carb cleaner through inlet and it came out the outlet. I then took the inlet hose off the elbow that comes from the side of the carb. My question is....should there be fuel coming out of that elbow while the engine is running? This is the supply line to the accel pump. Im getting no fuel while its running coming out of that elbow. thanx

so there is supposed to be fuel squirting out of the elbow? Will the elbow come off the carb and how do I get it off? I stuck a paper clip down in the nipple of the elbow to try to clear any obstructions and started the engine again to see if I would get any fuel and got nothing.

take the carbs off and go thru them. If yuo blast it while carbs are assembled, whatever breaks loose will just clog something else up....;)

97challenger 1800, sounds like you got the hang of it, carbs will take 1/2hr to remove.
