if i have a 80 gram sprin on my carbs what shpild the pop off be at. what are the stock spring on a seadooxp 787 ..

Pop-off is not just dictated by spring pressure. It also has to do with the size of the needle and seat, and with how the spring arm is bent. There is no way to give you a real pop-off pressure, just by what spring you have.

YOU MUST CHECK THE POP-OFF WITH A GAUGE AFTER WORK IS DONE ON THE CARBS.

Also... not all 800 engines have the same carbs, N/S, or jetting specs. So... there are different pop-off pressures.

Tell us what you are working on, and I can give you what your spec is.

Please keep the conversation here. When you PM, others don't get the knowledge.

If you have an actual Mikuni 80g (Black) spring... with a 1.5 N/S... you should have a pop-off around 38psi. But there are still a bunch of variables that can change that number. Because of that... you must check the pop-off after servicing.

FYI... the correct pop-off for a 97 XP should be 28 - 48 psi.
