The bolt against the bracket, use a short 10mm, the smaller cable, for your oil pump,,,are 8mm,,,you will need 2 small 8 mm wrenches.,,usually you don't want to touch the oil pump cable,
You may need a pair of small vice grips to prevent the throttle cable from twisting.,,,sometimes those threads lock up,
The 8 mm jam not should be right against the flex hex nut,,,,so it doesn't loosen off...and yes,,it's very tight quarters in there,

so I managed to get everything out and rebuild them.. i got a OEM rebuild kit and i was wondering if its normal to have pieces left over... i literally followed everything step by step and i also noticed i still had the small circle plastic pieces... i didnt have to remove any or seen any so wondering if thats normal depending on the carbs?

That's for the fuel pump diaphragms,,,I check to see if they are cracked,,,if not I leave them in...very bad of me...

i didnt even seen any when i was rebuilding or didnt notice any, i also have some gaskets and plastic sleeve left over but i did put gaskets in where they belonged

Yes the kits come with extra parts for different Mikuni carbs. Also don’t use the springs in the kits. Follow the carb rebuild sticky.
