hey guys i am going to attemt to rebuild the carbs on one of my 96xps, they are rebuilt just 2 years ago i have the paper work, but when i was riding it this weekend i noticeat full throttle it was going like 10mph and was studdering and then it would just go back to normal for a while and it would do good for about a hour and then do it off and on, so i talked to Minnetonka4me and he said more than likely my needles and seats. i see that it does not come in the kits, i pulled the carbs off and looked at internal filters they were as clean as can be and everything else looked really good in them, so what all should i order is there stuff i wont need and does anyone have any detailed instructions and all, i called the dealer they want 250 bucks to go threw them and clean, plus what ever parts i will need ...

Pull the return line and see if you are getting fuel routeing/circulating. Could be as simple as water separator
filter cup letting air into the fuel supply suction/delivery line. If N&S were bad the *plugs would be Wet.

I will check the plugs today to. But which line do I pull. I screwed the eTernal repertor the day before and cleaned the screen and put it back together. It looked good.

Item #15 http://fiche.worldofpowersports.com/wps/Seadoo_OEM/Seadoo_PWC.asp?Type=18&A=34&B=18&Action=O

It is easy accessable, just take out front basket and look in there towards steering. Lightly vaseline grease the square 0-ring and insure you don't cross-thread the debris cup when you screw it back on, lefty=loosey, righty=tighty.

Its standard to check this cup for water droplets every time you launch, and when you notice an increase you swab the tank.

Hey well I just switched to premix and I pulled the entire gas tank out andcleaned it up really good. Put all fresh gas n oil mix in there I pulled the water separator and cleaned it up good and put back on as well as new inline filters. Did the same thing to both skis. I notice out of the water I can rev it up fine its when its in water it will do that.

I'm pretty stumped on this one...I think it has something to do with pop off. Maybe the lever is bent to far or something. Didnt you tell me though it doesnt start as easy once warm or am I dreaming it?

no it starts up easy no matter what, but once it is warmed up really good it doesnt really act up as bad, but every now and then it will act up while driving but quickly go back to halling some ass again, its like off and on but after a while it just mainly does good.
