Looking for genuine Mikuni carburetor kits for my 95 gtx dual carb set up. Everyone I see on ebay is a knock-off. Who's got em and how much?? Thanks.

OSD Seadoo. Westside Power Sports. PWC Muscle.

Make sure you get needles and seats also, base gaskets and don’t use the springs in the kits.

mikidymac, I read your rebuilding thread - thanks very much. Still have a quick question.

Not a ton of fun trying to get the Mikuni kits in Canada, I can tell you. And the covid border closure has put the boot to getting a kit from the US - I normally save a lot of money by having stuff go to a Montana maildrop rather than adding $20-$40 in shipping cost to get it here directly. But I'll check with the three vendors you mentioned. Canadian dealer is quoting me about $85 for the kit - but the sole distributor up here is out of stock.

I'm looking at the rebuild kit one-sheet (from Mikuni's site) that has the exploded diagrams for the Super BN38 and BN44 (I have a '95 SPI). I get that the kit covers both models, and that it doesn't include the needle valve. But there's no needle valve shown on the BN38 diagram, just the BN44. Can you confirm that the BN38 doesn't have/need one?

And I really do appreciate your mentioning the difference between the Japanese Standard head and the Phillips. It's ridiculous how few people actually understand that - or even believe it's a thing. Worst head ever - about 20 variations that everyone just thinks are all the same.

All the carbs use the same needle and seats but they come in different sizes like 1.5, 2.0 so you have to order the correct one for your ski.

Have you tried OSD marine? I think they have genuine Mikuni parts.

A word of warning about the repair kit diagram. IT IS WRONG. There are some part numbers missing and some are just wrong. Compare with the actual rebuild manual for the carbs. Case in point is the fuel pump check valves. The part number in the repair kit sheet is for the large plastic diaphragm, not for the check valves.
I learned this the hard way when my parts showed up and were not what I was expecting.

Found stock, talked to a local dealer about bringing it in. So if I could get that one last question answered, please: Which pop-off spring?
