Hi all.
Need to know about goin thru the carbs. idle to mid range quite crappy on one engine. Basically falls on its face unless you feather it or jam it wide open. Usually just let it die and idle around when I need to on one engine. Makes docking quite fun btw..
Have ran 2 tanks of seafoam thru it with no luck.
I afraid of snapping off carb bolts to the head. Had the black airbox off on the good engine and broke 3 of those.Did manage to remove them though.
What are the tricks and anything important I should do before attempting this?

I just found this. Maybe it will help you too.

As for the bolts , I use Kroil, and I hear that PB Blaster is really good too for soaking them before attempting to remove. I wire brushed and soaked them for a couple days with Kroil before trying to get the exhaust manifold bolts off.
