Hello....Sort of newbie here, but mechanically inclined. I'm rebuilding the carbs in by 99 Challenger 1800 with 787's. Ordered carb gaskets (for where the carbs mount on the manifold) and they are way thinner than the thick ones that are on there. The thick ones are blue. Can I use the thinner ones, or was I sent the wrong ones? I was told that the thick ones are discontinued. Is that true? If I can use the thinner ones, will the carb bolts be too long? Thanks for the replies!

I had the same concern when I had the same issue with my carbs. I was okay with the stock bolts, but just to be sure you could thread your bolts (by hand) till they are snug then take a measurement.

Hope this hleps.

Yes I did ... they can be a pain to have aligned properly so I used this stuff to help hold em' in place.
