So a 6' rouge wave hit my buddy and slow motion flipped my gti this morning. I was sure we righted the craft the correct way. After we started it back up it was smoking like a moto.

They are designed to run after capsizing with out any further damage right? Should I check the oil?

Any input from guys that have been thru a similar situation would be great. Kinda worried lol

check the oil...if it's milky you got water in it...and it's in need of immeadiate attention.

After you righted the ski...did you remove the seat?...take a look at what made it into the hull?...could just be steam from hot exhaust parts.

And tell your buddy...head is always on a swivel.

I did remove the seat. Fair amount of water got in there. I got almost all of it out.

Good tip, I'll def check oil.

Rolled my old 06 GTX 155 over a while back - took a few minutes to flip her back, it sat a little lower in water but I just stated it up & it smoked a bit but ran fine. Balers sucked out the water & all was OK!
