Hello folks... I have a 2011 GTI SE 130 and an orange clear hose melted to a huge silver metal exhaust looking thing. I shut it off immediately but I can't reach the aft part of the hose to replace it. Is it safe to leave the bad hose, cut off the melted part and attach a coupler to connect the new hose?
