Hi,

I have a Seadoo GTX millennium edition however when I start my ski, it starts on the button and then the idle speed gets faster to just over 3000 rev's on the dials,

I have been told that the ski should be running around 1500 revs and around 800 when in the water however is just over 3k at the moment out,

Is there an idle screw I can adjust? if so where can I find it?

Also I am fairly new to ski's, the throttle cable is sticky and doesnt retract on the thumb throttle unless I push it back in, is this the cable and how easy are they to change and how can I do this?

I need the ski for the weekend so if you can help that would be much appreciated

Cheers

Personally i would disconnect the cable from the carb and check it is the cable that is tight and not the carbs. you can adjust the idel screw but it would run fast all the time if it was set too high. Could be an air leak, i would check all the hoses first!

I shall check the cable and when you say hoses, what hoses are these? sorry for beeing so bleak however I do not no much about ski's at all,

It seems to be running high all the time so it could lead back to the idle screw, do you no where I can find the screw? somewhere near the carb isnt it?

Thanks

just follow the cables to the carb, make sure its throttle, and not choke. there should be a screw that stops the throttle arm returning. normally with a spring on to stop it undoin
