I hope this is the right forum. I apologize if it is not. I'm looking to buy a PWC and I saw this picture online with an Advertisement.

1) Can someone tell me what SeaDoo this is? The Ad says a 1997 but what model?

2) Is this a stable PWC? As far as ride goes that is. This is a 3 seater it seems but I've heard the 2 seaters are harder to keep upright (especially for a big guy like me 300 pounds who has always rode 3 seaters only)

Thanks for any answers in advance!

Looks like it's a 1997 GTS. I've never rode one, but now that you know what it is you can go online and try and find some reviews. Hope that helps you.

yes it is a 97' gts. If you are 300lbs. i would say stay away form the older 2 seaters there are very unstable with 2 people. This ski is rated as a 3 seater but it is not as big as the new REAL 3 seaters. This ski is more like a very comfortable 2 seater. good luck!

Thanks for the info! Are the older 3 seaters stable for 450 pounds? 300 pound me and 150 pound GF? or should I find a newer 3 seater? I'll never have 3 people on it

that is totally up to you. The newer 3 seaters are rated at 600lbs. so i would say 450 should be alright but, this ski is the older hull design from the early 90s i would try and find a newer 3 seater hull design like a 96' gtx they are the more popular and larger hull design for around the same money. They made the gtx hull design from 95-2001 that is how popular they where....just my 2 sence, good luck!!

they hold a lot. i've had 3 people on mine at over 600 lbs on it. its a great starter ski. it will be able to do just about anything. plus since it sits lower that the gtx/gti you can slide around on it better.
