Should have just got the all in one mikuni rebuild. Expensive but worth it. That way you know its mikuni.

I did exactly what u did buying the springs that was supposedly OEM in a baggie in the mail that was not mikuni wrapped and had a crappy hole shot last summer, bought 2 mikuni kits for 90 bucks and problem was solved. Only got a few rides in and fall was here. Curse the northeast.

OSD is legit, I trust they are OEM parts. But good to know wrong springs can cause bad hole shot. I already got needles and seats so I didn’t want to buy a kit with another set of them and I have several other new parts already (like the $20 shaped o rings for the filter side). Got basically everything else though for about 67 bucks total, all OEM.

Your ski takes the 1.5 needle and seats and 95 gram springs.

Don’t use anything else.

And the Mikuni kits come with the 65 gram and 115 gram springs now, not the 95 gram that you need.

It sounds like you’ve already played with the springs, but just FYI, the springs and lever are not really a wear item on these carbs. Once you have the correct springs in there, you shouldn’t replace them when rebuilding, even if they come in the kit...

Yes sir, only replace them when the springs are mystery springs cuz the ski is new to me.
