Busted motor mount on water

Matty - As others have said, you must use the right tool to align the motor. I thought you were asking about the little open space on the shaft.
Once the motor has been disturbed it must be re-aligned.

i would do it right and pull the pump out...this way, when you slide the driveshaft back in, you'll know if the motor needs to be moved left or right...your call....
