IMG_5287.jpegI don’t think anyone cares lol, but I seem to like to share so if I’m allowed I will use this thread to share stuff that really doesn’t matter. I picked up my 4 gallons of Triax 2T oil today in Ogdensburg, excited about that. Opened it up and it’s blue🤮. But I know it meets the criteria so…. 😀. IMG_5286.jpegWhile I was in Ogdensburg I went to look at this machine. The fellow tells me it’s a 98XP? Does that seem right? There’s no engine in it, he said it had a 951. I looked on Seadoo source and the 98XPL has a yellow seat, this seat is black and looks original. Anyways, it has a gas shock still and I need that for my 97XP, I think the rub rails can be used, apparently he has the key for it and the MPEM is still there… not that I need that.
I stopped at both US and Canadian border to make sure that I wouldn’t have any issues getting in with my truck that is registered to my business or back in to Canada and it sounds like I should have no problem🤞

That is a 1999 XP, not a 1998 and the seat was silver. Last 2 digits of the VIN is the year and the tag is even in your picture.

Blue API-TC oil! Say it ain't so. Now I am going to have the change my 30+ rule of thumb that if it's blue it's bad. Guess it's time to retire from seadoo.
