bung seals

i replaced my broken bung rubber seals with plastic seals designed for boats but my GSX is still leaking water i have checked all hoses are clamped tight could the plastic washers be the problem? and how do i remove the drive shaft C shape clamp holding the ring seal carrier in place? as my seal carrier has been moved back and it seems to be stuck are there seals inside of this part?

this afternoon i decided to screw in the drain plugs with the nylon washer in place of the rubber O rings than i lifted the front of the seadoo trailer and filled the lower section of the hull with water and the drain plugs were leaking water so i think i may have found my leak
