I have broken the retractable towing pole on my Wake 155. I always wondered about the strength of this part and why it is made out of plastic?
Anyway I was searching for spare parts on the net, because to buy this in Australia will cost a small fortune. Wondering if anyone has some experience here and can tell me if u can repair it to save buying an entire new assembly.
The plastic pop up post has snapped, while the pop up aluminium post remains intact. On the Seadoo Warehouse spare parts site it looks like I can buy the moulded handle and post PN 291002603, spring ball PN 269501651, 2 x 1/4 ball PN 293350062.
Appreciate any advice about such a repair, thanks
P.S. I have learnt not to tow tubes using the pole, actually I had no problem, a friend was driving and lost the slack in the tow rope then hit speed :-(
