broken bolts

hi 97 gtx with 787
taken mag cover off to replace oil pump shaft and broke 3 bolts can i heat bolts to come out easyer? still in hull thanks

If it's still in the hull, I wouldn't. Getting enough heat on the bolts will get everything else hot. You could even ignite the hull if you aren't careful.

I would try to get a little penetrating oil on them. Also, once they start to move... rock them back and forth a few times. That will help break up the corrosion. (and spry more oil on them)

Id suggest leaving them in there if nothing else works, clean up the surfaces good and silicone them together. Should be fine theres lots of bolts there.

i got bolts out, with a lisle stud remover part#19250 size# 1 works great with motor in hall. thanks again for help
