Okay so I am a total newbie o the sport and just bought a 2011 GTI155 Limited...
The dealer said nothing about a "break in" period and I didn't even know of such a thing until I found thus site and started reading about caution during the first 10 hours...
So here's he deal....I have about 4 hours on my new Seadoo and being new certainly have varied the throttle quite a lot...not ever at full throttle due to not being comfortable at that speed. The last hour though I did a lot of cruising at 30-35 miles per hour over 15-20 minute periods. Now I am freaking out that I am damaging the engine based on what I have read here about cruising at those constant speeds. Can someone please reassure me that I have not damaged my engine? I ran it up to 50 mph for a few seconds at the highest speed. It makes me a bit mad that the dealer said nothing about breaking it in....
