can I use yamalube regular 10w40 oil in a 2004 Seadoo gtx 155 ? it is 23 on amazon and Seadoo synthetic blend oil is 42.

far as I know, yes. I know you're not supposed to use anything with friction modifiers (synthetic oils) on supercharged engines. I use Castrol 10W-40 in all my 4tecs, but Mobil1 synthetic in my N/A Yamaha.

I have the same question for the 2009 GTI 130 (N/A).
As it has no supercharger (with wet clutch), is the normal 10w40 "car" oil OK?
Also, wouldnt it be better to use synthetic 5w40 instead of semi-synthetic 10w40?
(I dont have easy access to XPS here)
