Both engines were dead for awhile

I ran my 97 Speedster for the first time on Sunday and some weird things happened. My starboard engine was replaced at the end of last season. The boat sat in yard from mid July until October with 3/4 a tank of gas in it with no Stabil. I got it back and put stabil in and ran it this weekend. It started fine then about 10 min in the right engine died and would not start. It eventually started again and ran. I then stopped both engines about an hour later and when I tried to start them 20 min later they would not start. After some trying eventually the left one started and I was underway on one engine. After another 30 minutes the right one started again and ran. I then ran the boat for another 2 hours until most of the gas was gone. I tested the engines again to see if they would start and they both started right up. Should I do anything else the next time I use it or am I ok now that that fuel is gone? Could it have been something else?
