I finally got everything else working on my XP now its just finding out why the 15amp fuse on the MPEM is blowing as soon as it makes contact with the fuse holder. What are the causes of the fuse blowing?
Had the same prob on my 98 XP Limited.
In my case It was the stator. I pulled the mag cover and cleaned the stator.
My stator was suddenly working as a consumer when it was dirty. Took the whole time about 19.5 amp (could measure it with an amperemeter in that 15amp slot). It even did with an unplugged key. When I pulled the stator plug at the outside of the magcover I measured 0amp and the fuse didn't burn when putting new one in.
