Black tube/hose from front of ski not attached?

Hey everyone. New to forum and new to Sea Doo. Before taking our "new to us" ski out today, I installed a new battery. When removing the old battery, I noticed a small black rubber tube laying by battery tray runnung on bottom of hull to under engine, but not attached to anything. Is there some sort of drain tube from up front to move water out the back, or do I have something important not hooked up? Not going to run ski until knowing. End of hose didnt have any clamp marks or anything. Thanks in advance! Btw 2003 GTX supercharged limited.

I got deeper into forum and think this has been answered before. Looks like it is vent hose for battery, but I have a sealed battery. I would delete post if I knew how, but the battery vent hose seems most plausible.
