Im deciding between swapping my crankshaft but keeping my full topend and im pretty sure its good, and i think the crank may be seized and bearing toast either from lack of oil or block in the cooling system, im not far enough in yet to know. But anyways its either that or get a sbt and im not sure yet what i wanna do. If i do the bottom end what is the best sealant for the case? Ive seen some people swear by permatex grey and some say black. Then theres yamabond or some loctite, ive even heard of threebond. What is the “best”?

Never black or gray RTV, ever...

ThreeBond 1184 is what you want to use which is also sold under different names such as Permatex MotoSeal, HondaBond, YamaBond, KawiChem.
