"best" aftermarket seat covers?

Your chances of getting a "Jettrim" job from a local yocal is one in a million. Do you want yours to look like a golf cart bench seat(the second time around)?

I've got a quote from two local shops, one for $225 and one for $250, they both said they are experts in restoration and have "done many 'jetskis' over the years. The price includes new foam. I am going to ask them about custom work.

Thanks again for all the responses.

I'm going to agree and disagree with Matt on this.

There ARE good quality craftsmen to be found, but for every great guy, there are 9 others that just want to stretch some vinyl over the seat and call it a day.

The two that I have access to do custom vinyl all day, every day, own and ride PWC's and understand the needs of the rider based on personal experience.

Unless you find a local guy that really impresses you, IMO jet trim is going to provide better quality vinyl, and offer higher quality overall craftsmanship with regards stitching, backing, forming, etc... I would hesitate to say that a local guy will do a better job, but i'd feel comfortable saying that they will offer you a "one off" type of seat, but if I was going to bet which seat will last longer, I'd have to put my money on Jettrim.

I picked up a pneumatic staple gun today that works good. Heading back to the Jettrim site now...

I've contacted Jettrim to try and figure out how one is supposed to order a seat cover. Their site only lets you choose the newer RXT/RXP models, 12 choices only when you go to create the darn thing. Unless I am missing something obvious.

Call them let them know you are a forum member as a matter of fact ask for Jackson. The rx/rxx cover was listed I will look when I get to my comp

The forum sells Jettrim covers for a discount too. eMail sales@pwcmuscle.com to get the exact cover and pricing info.

Try to actually pick the RX seat and make a design...ain't happening. Even if you pick one of the 12 models they list, I find no way to do anything other than 'buy' it, there is never an option given to custom design one that actually WORKS. I guess the site is having some trouble.
I'll contact them directly but this sort of thing puts me off, frankly....lol.

Yes, it shows it but clicking on it does nothing but expand the picture. Doesn't take you to a way to order it.

Look at the swatches of different materials and where they would go and call them is the best bet. They are an upholstery shop the web site kinda needs work lol

I'd say there is definitely website problems. If you look around there are messages that pop up that define this or that script or web design feature that can be turned on or off...odd.

No one said they have the best website.... They make the best seat covers

96 XP800!
Keep the 2 strokes alive!

Oh ya. I forgot to mention that.

Their website sux.

lol! I've contacted them and simply said, "UH...go ahead...TRY and order a seat cover using your website...it has issues."
They need to understand their competition has the ordering process down pat and makes it very easy to purchase something OTHER than Jettrim...

Thanks again everyone for the help and patience with the 'noob' questions!
