So I ride a sea doo spark 90, which is the first and only pwc that I've used. That being said I really want more power. I ride in lakes and rivers, being in tn, but would like to get to the ocean sometime. I want a more powerful sea doo and was wondering for the price is a 260 or a 215 with a rivia stage 1 kit going to be more bang for the buck? I really want to ride a bigger one before I buy as well. Any thoughts there? Thanks

The prices for the 260s have come down considerably since the 300 came out in my area. I would definitely recommend the 260 over the 215 if you are wanting max power for the price.

If the 60 is too expensive then one option may be to get a 215 then grab an xcharger and injectors for it. But that would be if you could get the ski at a great price.

The xcharger and injectors kit is right here http://www.pwcmuscle.com/sea-doo-x-charger-and-42lb-injector-combo-1077.html

I agree,,, If you are looking for power and speed, do not get anything smaller than the 255.

Yes, the 215 has a Super Charger (SC) and it is an impressive engine. But to get the 215 to what the larger engines are will cost some money in regards to the add-ons needed to do so. You will be amazed how strong the 255 and up engines are.

I own a 2009 RXT-X with the 255 and LOVE the ski..

255's are pretty awesome, if your not going with the new (2012?) hulls and want to spend time in the ocean then the GTX and RXT probably make the most sense.

I have the 255 stage one, and it pulls dam hard from 0-72.

The only problem with getting an older 215 (which stock will be much more powerful than the spark) is that by the time you add the x charger kit you should have just bought a 255 and been done with it.

I'm seeing quite a few 255's around here in FL in the 4-6K range, and they used to be 6-8K.

I actually found my 08 TX with stage 1 for 4300 but I had to drop a grand into it immediately.

I prefer if people in 2016 purchase 08 or newer to avoid outdated exhaust valves and superchargers unless they are mechanically inclined and can avoid some of the somewhat excessive labor rates to get the ski up to date.
