Battery Recommendation

I want to replace the battery on my 2005 GTX. The one I have appears to be working fine, however it is at least 5 or 6 years old. My car battery just went out yesterday so I would rather be on the safe side with the Ski. I want to get another maintenance free battery. I see them on the internet from $89.00 on up. What brand would you recommend?

Deka AGM, seems to be the hands down favorite.

 I agree! just replaced the battery a week ago with a DEKA AGM that I bought locally at a Federated Auto Parts store. Hardest part, was getting the old one out of the GTXis in the overly engineered battery housing way down in the stern hole, and then getting the two piece plastic housing back together again. Luckily, the two tie down bolts (that you can barely see) went back in using an extension on the socket, with some blue tape holding the bolt and washer in place. :bang head:

I should be good for another several years. Even though my original battery hadn't pooped out, I could tell last year it was getting tired. Got 3 full seasons out of it.

Not sure of the name brand of the battery in mine, though I can tell you that it's a common battery used in Harley Davidsons according to battery world, they reckon its strong with loads of cranking amps but mainly made to with stand high vibrations. think I was quoted here in Australia for just over $200 if I remember right.
