Battery question 2008 RXP215

Hi. I'm going to install an auxiliary battery in my ski. I'm concerned if temporary disconnection of primary battery will cause problems with my electronics???
Might be a weird question as batteries must be disconnected to replace them, but I just need to be sure. Thanks.

Should be ok disconnect negative terminal first an reconnect it last why are you putting two batteries in a ski just seems like to much work on the stator to me

Will batteries be connected in parrallel? If so it shouldn't be a problem unless you short something out while pulling out primary battery. Be careful and tape up the terminal wires so they don't short out anything and you should be fine. BTW, just wondering, why you are going with two batteries?
