Battery Low notication problem

Islandia 2005: I am having problems with my battery low notication (loud ear piercing beep). It goes off after a few minutes everytime i shut the boat off and there is something on like the radio. I have checked the battery and that is not the problem. I have added a dual battery set up to the boat. I am wondering if there is something i need to reset or do to stop this from happening. Any help would be great. Thanks

A constant beep is over heat. (But the Merc boats could be different)

If it is a low 12v... then, no... there isn't a reset. Just get more power to it. Have you verified that the batteries are good, and the system is charging while the engine is running?

I have checked the batteries, the beep is not constant. it is about a 1 sec beep continually until i turn on the key or push the batt button on the control panel.

perhaps could be not charging at all try putting meter to it when running at around 5000 rpms if only showing 12 v then not charging will alos cause long beep and not able to pass the 5000 rpm because it is in safe mode just a thought
