Continuing with my prior post....
In the beginning, the battery light would stay on at idle, then go off once you got the RPMs up. I charged the battery, but that didn't help. Then the light began to stay on all the time, along with a contiunous alarm. I was under the impression that the alarm was for overheating, but the temp light has never indicated that.
I just replaced the rectifier this afternoon, as I was sure that was the problem, but guess what. The light is still on and the alarm is still blaring!
I know the battery is good, and the rectifier is new. Is the stator my next step? I have only done a stator once before and I DO NOT want to go throught that crap again.
Is there anything else I can try before taking this thing to the dealer?
Thanks,
Ryan
