Base gasket thickness

Hi i got a 2000 gti. Need to find out what thickness base gasket to order. The old one is gone so i cant reference that. Nothing has been done machining wise to the jugs or block. Is there a common size. The ones availible range from 0.3-0.8

Check sbt put your ski in they will give you the right one.

There are holes in the gasket in a pattern to tell you what one it is.

0.5 - 0.6 is standard from the factory. ( 5 hole or 6 hole)
