Baffle pickup

Can’t seem to get the baffle out. Does just the plastic part come out or does the rubber part come out also. The manual says to pull straight up, but I can’t get it to budge. Any advice appreciated

Yes the rubber part comes out as well

and just pulling with my hand should get it to come out?

The rubber part is "stuck" to the tank neck. You have the hose clamps off so try to spin the rubber part on the tank neck to break it's grip then things should wiggle straight up. The baffle is pretty tall and you will have to lean the whole assembly to get it out if it contacts the hull or other components. Just like getting a stubborn radiator hose to let go.

Thin flat piece of wood or something, lay it on the tank and pry the rubber up.
