I pulled the fuel baffle awhile back cause my fuel guage isnt working. The float was at the bottom of the baffle ,full of fuel & the magnets detached. I bought a new float and installed it today.
After reconnecting the fuel baffle to the wiring harness I turned the battery on....got the two beeps...but the gauge still doesnt move. I rocked the fuel baffle back & forth to make sure the float was moving and see if it would get the gauge to move as well with no luck.
I havent dropped it in the tank yet cause the unit may be burnt out and I need to test it first. So whats the best way to do this?

Put a jumper between the wires come from the gauge, it should make the gauge move to full, you can test the baffle with a ohm meter, when you move the magnet up/down the reading will change..

Very cool! thx a million guys! I didnt want to tear the baffle apart without knowing if the gauge worked...but it does! so its time to fix the fuse. I tried using a ohm meter but get no readings. So once the the fuse is bridged I should get something out of it.

This fix did it! all is working now! time to drop it in the tank & see how it does.
