Just thought I'd post a useful tip. A while back I was having issues with my suspension (iS model) which turned out to be the seat position sensor was shot. This sensor is brutal from BRP of course. It turns out it is also the same sensor used as a throttle position sensor on almost all injected non-IC rides.
More importantly it is _also_ the throttle position sensor used on Kia's, Jeeps etc. The bosh part number is 0280122014 and can be had at parts stores starting at $15 new..
I know there's other crossover parts.. Maybe some time people can get enough examples together to make a list. Don't think for a second SeaDoo builds all these electronic components just for their own use
Even the ECM's on the IC class machines are just standard Bosch automotive computers but of course with BRP software loads.
