So i went riding today on practically a peice of glass with no wakes

As im riding back to the dock my motor starts to bog out and would not go over 5mph and frequently stalled out. I luckily was very close to the dock. I open the hood and see that the engine compartment was almolst halfway full and i knew that was not right. My backend then kept on sinking and finally when i get to the dock i opened the back hatch and the water was almost up to the battery. If i wasnt at the dock i think i would have sunk.

I took it home and tried to test the pump with the hose and its not doing a thing. Does anyone know where the fuse is for it? Can anyone tell me how to test it with a battery? Any other suggestions on fixing this??

When you say that you "tried to test the pump with a hose".... What did you do?

If you are talking about the electric bilge pump... it could be plugged up, or it could just be bad. (They don't last forever)

The more important issue is to find where the water was coming in at.

I am very new to the sea doo world but I'm a mechanic by trade so I'll say remove it and put 12 volts directly to it , a simpler thing would be a fuse or a bad connection , I wish this helps

my 02 was sold to me with a blown fuse for the pump, and bad pump. it blew 2 fuses on me within seconds, so i replaced it, works well now.

Well i tested and there is no water comming in, the water is just comming in from riding to my knowledge. Are there any other systems in the xpl that extract thre water other than the automatic electric pump? Can anyone tell me where the fuse is for the automatic pump?

I even filled the hull up with water on the trailer to test bilge and the machine will not extract any water anywhere, Plus i dont hear the pump turning on.
