At the lake, maiden voyage.... Won't run, help.

Brief history... 1992 seadoo xp new top end. Premix

It runs on the trailer and idles in the water. When you attempt to give it throttle it dies. If I baby the throttle I can get it going a little. I pull the plugs and they are dark but dry. While trying to start it I killed the battery.

The carb has been cleaned and set back to factory specs on the needles.
One thing to note is when I got the high speed needle was out about 6 turns.

Any help is appreciated.

Also should mention it got really hot to touch but no alarm. And the ski has a k&n Ruth no flame arrestor.

No grey fuel lines and new spark plugs and fuel filter.

Ok, back home after the lake. Had to swim the ski in.

I got it to run for about 45 seconds. Must be a fuel delivery issue. Time to pull the carbs again.

check your fuel pick ups inside the tank.

Also, you could have a leak around the filter bowl, or the fuel select valve could be plugged up.

Thanks for the reply. I will check the filter bowl.

I ordered carb rebuild kits, they should be here tomorrow. Not sure when I will get time to do the rebuild.
