Anybody Replaced Filter in Fuel Pump Assembly

Have 05 180C SCIC. How do you change out fuel filter in the pump assembly?

I've never done it, but the filter is on the bottom of the pump. Access it thru the removable access panel in the floor.

Thanks. I have pulled the pump and it looks like I have to drill out a couple rivets at the bottom of the pump unit to remove the plate. Just want to make sure that is what I am supposed to do??

I didn’t drill anything to get the cover off.The whole cover snaps off.It like a big cup not a plate.

Doesn’t it just plug in to the bottom of the pump assembly?

There are 2 filters, the one above on the outside bottom and one on the inside. You don't need to drill out rivets, just release the spring loaded bottom and it will come apart.
