Any way to confirm oil injection system working?

The new oil lines from the pump to the intake should be clear so you should be able to see the oil in them.
It should smoke a lot at idle if you hold the oil pump lever wide open.

If you have the OEM painted ones you should replace them.

It is recommended they be replaced as they get old and brittle. If they break your engine is ruined.
They can be secured with high quality zipties instead of the metal clamps.
