I bought a 98 Spx 800 a few months ago and now that the days have gotten longer and it’s gotten warmer out I’ve been going over it. I was messing around trying to figure out why the trim doesn’t work and noticed the fuses in the back box by the battery weren’t correct.
The fuse on the bottom is a 30amp and the one above it is a 15amp. From what I’ve read they should be half that.
Is there any reason why someone would do that other than not wanting to buy the correct fuses?
Just trying to make sure there isn’t an underlying cause that would make someone do that.
It starts up Almost immediately when cold. And when I went to look at it the first time the guy was trying to jump a dead battery while installed in the ski. Messaged me a few days later and said he had to replace the Solenoid and battery and I went back to look and it started and ran fine so I didn’t think anything of it.
