It's hard to say from the pic. Yes, the XPS is dark, but the old mineral version was honey colored, and the blend isn't as dark as the Synth.
What was in it before?
Did you bleed the pump?
Even with the darker oil, it may not look dark because the ID of the tube is small, and will give the oil a thin cross section compared to the large hose of the RV system.
One last thing to look at.... it's hard to tell in the picture... but when the oil hoses are empty, you can see the inside of the hose. When they are full of oil, they look like a solid piece.
If there is any question... and you want to go play... take a few extra spark plugs with you, and mix your fuel at 40:1. If your injection is working... you may foul plugs... but if it's not... you will still be safe.
This is why I always say to change those little hoses. Then, when you bleed it... you know that the pump is running. Not to mention, since you boat is over 10 years old... and those hoses are the factory hoses... it would be a pity to burn up the engine because of $1 worth of rubber hose.
I'm doing an engine swap for a member here in a Challenger... but the new engine isn't sowing up until Monday. So... I think I'm playing hooky today. Where are you taking your boat? If it's local... I may wonder out that direction with the skis.
