I've been looking online for the bolt on air filters for my 720's...anyone have a link or something to point me in the right direction? Thx in advance!!

Don't change them.

Your stock airbox can flow more air than the stock carbs can flow. (as long as it's clean) Also... it provides the proper resistance for the way the carbs are tuned. Even "Factory Pipe" recommends leaving on the stock airbox with their pipe. (and they get 20 more HP out of that engine) also... aftermarket filters don't offer a noticeable HP gain by themselves. (they support power from other mods)

If you put on a less restrictive air filter... you will have to re-tune your carbs. Most likely drop your pop-off pressure, but you may need to enrichen your main circuit.

Lastly... the stock airbox provides great resistance to water ingestion. A K&N filter will drink every drop of water that hits it.

I totaly agree with Dr Honda,

What you actually have on your boat now are flame arrestors, they provide very little filtering, so unless you are using your boat under extreme conditions, ie dust, air polution, etc. the stock flame arrestor should be fine. Plus I don't know how the K&N filters act as flame arrestors. Generally I feel that SeaDoo knows more about building ski's than I do so I leave it stock. Like I use to tell my kids when I rebuilt my Corvair "it's not the way GM (in this case SeaDoo) intended it".

You asked the question so I answered it.

Lou
