This may seem like and odd question, but after my broken motor mount and shredded driveshaft damper I'm a little edgy about my ski.

Situation is motor mount broke, drive shaft damper was abused, so tonight I pulled motor mount to replace. Happened to have plugs out to inspect them and just for the heck of it I tried to turn the drive shaft. Well, it turned, and boy was it easy. Seems easier to turn than it ever was before. My question is with plugs out how easily should I be able to turn the motor over by hand via the drive shaft? Am I I just losing my mind?

P.S. Compression with plugs in is 150 each cylinder.

yea without the plugs it is way way easier to turn the driveshaft, you are not crazy :)

It is pretty easy, and two strokes are easier than the 4 strokes...

One advantage of the 2-stroke is, if you ever get a line wrapped around the impeller you can remove the plugs and spin it backwards to unwind the line. 4-Strokes don't like going backwards...
