Any thoughts on a fischer power waterbox or tdr waterbox for a 95 seadoo xp???Will it improve performance or just be more noise??i kinda like the sound;)...any other changes that need to be made to accomodate the water box such as carburetion or jetting because of less restriction??

By itself... it won't do much. If you like the sound, and the price is right... buy it.

The tuned pipe is where the real power is made... and... back in the day... I use to just remove the water box in my ski's. But, be careful. Some lakes are cracking down on noise.

I just bought a TDR water box for a 720, I paid 125.00 for it shipped. Here is a cool clip I found on youtube. The reason why I bought it to get a little bit more sound. You might have to jet up since it is less restrictive, but I am not really sure where I read that statement online. :bigear:

Dr Honda?

You said that the tuned pipe is where the power is made, what is that? and you said you use to remove the water box, would that make more power, dont worry about the noise law, i live in a county where there is only one traffic light, and its the 4th of July year round haha. please message me back.

Dr Honda, on th xp800 with the rave valve on the water box, is there any positive or negatives to the tar box other than the sound.

It is probably easier to get the tar box compared to sourcing a used one which might also fail.

i ve been searching for sum peice of after market sumthing for my 97 seadoo xp and cant find a thing .. were are u people finding these water boxs?

Is there a thread on removing the water box? I'd like to remove it on both my ski's (95spx and 96 wave blaster II) I'm not worried about noise Ive just been worries about blowing the motors from lack of back pressure.
