Adding additional guages other than stock

Hi all, got a 99 GS and am wondering if its possible to add additional guages from other models and what's involved to do it.

you can, the manual helps out explaining what wires are what...what gauges you need?

just thinking about bringing the guages up to a higher model of the same year. Any suggestions?

rpm gauge, voltmeter gauge,..thats about it, unless you wanna drill into hull and install VTS and/or speedo gauges.

Did not know if the MPEM thingy was a factor involved in the intergration of additional guages.

on the rpm tach, you got purple(12v), black(gnd) and have to go look at the other color wire, but that one, connects to "grey wire" off mpem, to get the rpm signal, or just wrap the other wire around mag sparkplug wire
