Accelerator pump recharge jet?

Ok I have two 1997 challenger 1800s I’m compiling into one working boat - I’ve pulled apart three sets of carbs and none of them had a recharge jet in the accelerator pump input tube - is this an error, should I re-add them?

The reason I ask is that it ialso sn’t shown in the parts diagrams for my year of boat anywhere.

Some have them and some don't' some will run without them if it didn't have them from the factory, if they did and are gone they won't.

Not really sure what the guru's at Seadoo were doing back in the day.

the early 97 boats must not have had them - after doing a lot of YouTubing and searching, I decided to order some 30 size secondary jets so I can stuff one in the feed lines of each of mine.

If they didn't have them from the factory then don't add one.
